"Obama and the Gays, again" Is the title of the most recent article on America Blog. It seems Obama is getting both some positive and negative publicity about him and Gays. First, the Liberals are very happy with him for his comment: "scorned our gay brothers and sisters instead of embracing them" which he made at a Baptist Church in Atlanta.
But then the liberals started to get upset with Obama because of a link he had with Rev. Caldwell. They were very upset with Obama because Caldwell had a program at his church that "cured" gays. The exact quote from their website was:
We are pleased to announce the creation of “ The Way, The Truth and The Life”, a program created to provide Christ Centered instruction for those seeking freedom from homosexuality, lesbianism, prostitution, sex addiction and other habitual sins.
In my opinion practicing homosexuality, prostitution, or sex addiction are all habitual sins and I am very pleased to see that a church has a program like this!

Amen David. More churches should have programs like this to help people who have been consumed by these terrible sins.
This is such a hard/controversial issue. I also think that more churches should be willing to do something about this problem instead of just condemning it.
I second that Amen. It is cool that they have a program like this. It is a big issue in our society right now. Churches should be doing more to help with this issue.
